General information about the Personal Data Law

The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as KVKK) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated April 7, 2016. Part of the KVKK came into effect on the publication date, and another part on October 7, 2016.

Information as data controller

Pursuant to KVKK No. 6698 and as the Data Controller, your personal data will be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties where permitted by legislation, classified, and processed in the manners stipulated in KVKK as explained on this page.

How your personal data may be processed

In accordance with KVKK No. 6698, the personal data you share with our Company may be processed by us fully or partially, automatically or non-automatically, provided it is part of any data recording system, by obtaining, recording, storing, modifying, reorganizing, in short, by any operation performed on the data. Any processing on data within the scope of KVKK is considered "processing of personal data."

Purposes and legal grounds for processing your personal data

The personal data you share,

• To fulfill the necessities of the services we provide to our customers, to perform in accordance with the contract and technological requirements, and to improve the products and services offered;
  
  
• To record identity, address, and other necessary information to identify the data subject within the scope of the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, the Regulation on Electronic Commerce Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers published in the Official Gazette No. 29457 dated 26.08.2015 based on these regulations, the Distance Contracts Regulation published in the Official Gazette No. 29188 dated 27.11.2014, and other relevant legislation;
  
  
• To prepare all records and documents supporting transactions conducted in banking and electronic payment areas, either electronically or on paper; to comply with information retention, reporting, and notification obligations required by legislation and other authorities;
  
  
• To provide information to prosecutors, courts, and relevant public officers upon demand and as required by legislation in matters relating to public safety and legal disputes;

they will be processed in accordance with KVKK No. 6698 and relevant secondary regulations. Information about third parties or organizations to which your personal data may be transferred Your personal data shared with our Company for the purposes stated above may be transferred to persons/organizations such as IdeaSoft Software Industry and Trade Inc., which provides our e-commerce infrastructure, suppliers, cargo companies, other persons and organizations related to the services provided, partner organizations with whom we cooperate to conduct our activities and/or as Data Processors, domestic/foreign organizations, and other third parties.

How your personal data is collected

Your personal data,

• Through forms on our Company's website and mobile applications including information such as name, surname, Turkish ID number, address, phone, business or private email address; preferences on pages accessed with username and password, IP records of performed transactions, cookie data collected by the browser, data including browsing duration and details, location data;

• Verbally, in writing, or electronically through our sales and marketing department employees, branches, suppliers, other sales channels, paper forms, business cards, digital marketing and call centers;

• Obtained from persons who share their personal data via business cards, resumes (CVs), offers, or similar ways to establish commercial relations, apply for a job, or make a proposal with our Company, collected physically or virtually, face-to-face or remote, verbally or in writing or electronically;

• Additionally, data obtained indirectly from different channels, such as from websites, blogs, competitions, surveys, games, campaigns, and similar (micro) websites used for these purposes, data from social media, newsletter reading or clicking activities, publicly available databases, profile and data shared publicly on social media platforms; may be processed and collected.

Your personal data obtained before the enforcement of KVKK

Personal data lawfully obtained before the enforcement date of KVKK on April 7, 2016, through membership, permission for electronic communication, product/service purchase, and other forms, is also processed and retained in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated in this document.

Transfer of your personal data abroad

Your personal data collected by any of the methods mentioned above, whether processed in Turkey or processed and retained outside Turkey, shall remain within the scope of KVKK and may be transferred to service intermediaries located abroad (to countries accredited by the Personal Data Protection Board and having adequate protection concerning personal data protection) appropriately in line with contract purposes.

Storage and protection of personal data

Your personal data will be stored confidentially in the database and systems of our Company pursuant to Article 12 of KVKK; it will not be shared with third parties except for legal obligations and the provisions specified in this document. Our Company is obliged to prevent unlawful processing of personal data, prevent unauthorized access, and take software measures such as access management and physical security precautions as stated in Article 12 of KVKK. In the event of learning that personal data has been obtained unlawfully by others, the situation will be immediately reported to the Personal Data Protection Board in writing and in accordance with legal regulations.

Keeping personal data accurate and up-to-date

Pursuant to Article 4 of KVKK, our Company has the obligation to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. For this purpose, our customers are required to share accurate and up-to-date data or update it through the website/mobile application so that our Company can fulfill its obligations arising from the applicable legislation.

Rights of the personal data owner under KVKK No. 6698

Article 11 of KVKK No. 6698 came into force on October 7, 2016, and under this article, the rights of the Personal Data Owner are as follows: The Personal Data Owner may apply to our Company (data controller) to;

1. Learn whether personal data is processed,
2. Request information if personal data has been processed,
3. Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used accordingly,
4. Know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data is transferred,
5. Request correction if personal data is processed incompletely or inaccurately,
6. Request deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of KVKK,
7. Request notification of corrections, deletions, or destructions to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
8. Object to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing processed data exclusively through automated systems,
9. Request compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data,

These rights belong to the data owner. Registered with trade registry number 8489-5 of the Chamber of Commerce and with MERSIS number 0-6340-4409-3500019, Oddo Textile Industry and Trade Inc., located at the specified address, is the Data Controller within the scope of KVKK. The Data Controller Representative appointed by our Company will be announced on the Data Controllers Registry and on the website where this document is located when the legal infrastructure is established.
